August Internationals – Europe Outpaces Asia/Pacific

866 airports have now reported their August passenger actuals.  The 866 cover 86% of global international traffic for the month.  For September the tally so far is 323 airports and 27% of traffic. That number will rise each day as the airports declare their latest September numbers and subscribers can track them on the Air4casts website.

Today’s Air4casts bulletin examines the August regional highlights and focuses on the fast-track September reporters. The measurement is international passenger flows because it’s those who take international flights who drive the vast bulk of post-security travel retail shopping.
